I bought tickets online which saved us time and scheduled our Universal Studios Singapore trip on our day 2, a Monday.
Toppet and I was amazed with the Transformers The Ride, and I wish we lined up again and did our 2nd round. There were just too many people lining up already by the time we got out. We also tried the Accelerator just for the heck of it, we were able to use our Go Pro and took a video of us fooling around.
Revenge of the Mummy is awesome but bitin. When we got out, I told Toppet it wasn’t scary but he caught me lying because our picture outside was shown hahaha. Ok fine you got me.
Lunch is served. Chicken rice set with bean sprouts and green bean with sago.
The park is not as huge as Disneyland and coz we did 3 laps to make sure everything is covered. Then, we went out and checked out Sentosa.
After checking out Sentosa, we went back to Orchard. We bought chocolates at Chocspot in Lucky Plaza. Also checked out Far East Plaza Mall and 313 Somerset.
Time to recharge ourselves with a sweet treat. Checked out Orchard Central where the Cold Stone Creamery is. I had one of my favorite signature creations, Strawberry blonde , (love it so we can share) with waffle at $8.90 and Chocolate Devotion at $5.90.
Killiney Curry Puff got us curious, as we were trying to look at the menu, an American who was buying at that time told me that she likes the Sardine puff. So we bought two and it was absolutely delicious. A little bit sweet and spicy, exactly my type! It costs $1.4o each. An empanada with spicy sardine.
Bugis Street is a night market, located in the opposite of Bugis Junction and Bugis MRT station. There’s not much to see in Bugis unless you plan to buy a whole lot of cheap stuff for your friends and family. We were supposed to have dinner in the hawker center in Bugis but it was already late and some were closing (and cleaning, which is not a nice view while eating) already.
Ended up going back to the same Indian fast food chain. I had the Chicken Nasi Biryani. Still delicious!
And because we love Japanese food, we tried this Japanese Restaurant called Yakoiken in 313 Somerset. What’s awesome is that you get to order using the iPad! there’s iPad in every table. Spell a-w-e-s-o-m-e. As soon as you’re done ordering your food, that’s the time a real person delivers your food. What a time-saving tool!
