Galli Village Cafe, San Antonio Village Makati

January 7, 2016

Holidays are over but that won’t stop me from binge eating. After downing mostly Filipino dish last Christmas and New Year’s at home, my first dine out for the month is at Galli Village Cafe in San Antonio Village Makati, a quaint and quiet Spanish-Filipino cafe. Yay! New Year, New Food! Enough of overindulging myself with left overs from holidays. hehe

Galli Village Cafe

Galli Village Cafe is located in Ground Floor of YMCA Makati Building, right accross the Shrine of the Sacred Heart. The cafe has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I would probably recommend this place where you can date your special someone or  meet a friend you haven’t seen in a long time, who is down for delightful shrimp gambas and a good chat, why not.

You can read coffee tables while you wait.

The cafe’s interior consists of souvenirs, coffee table books, maps and photos  from different countries the owners of the cafe have vistied. At first I didn’t realize this was a Spanish – Flipino cafe until they told me what their specialty is, Paella Valenciana.

Their Paella is only cooked once you order. This is not pre-made. If you intend to eat Paella here, It is recommended that you call the cafe so that you won’t have to wait that long when you arrive.

The Paella they served us is good for 10 pax ,but not when you have more female pals with you, this can feed 15 or more. Grabe heavy! busog!

Beef Salpicao tastes just as good. These are beef tenderloin, no more no less. Where can you find pure tenderloin beef salpicao at Php240?

You can reserve this place exclusively, great for get-together occasions, intimate gatherings and small parties. And yes you can put in your own and customized decorations, buy balloons etc!  Just don’t mess with the cafe’s original decors 🙂 Say a surprise birthday party for a friend or family member! in Makati! that’s inexpensive right. I’ll include this in my go-to place list just for that. Overall it’s a small cafe that can fill you up anytime of the week especially on a work week. I will come back to try the  Angus Beef Tapa and their all day breakfast menu.
