Puerto Galera used to be one of my favorite places to go to whenever I just feel like going to the beach. No more planning and finding out how I’m gonna get there. I just grab my bag, money and shades and then I’m gone for the whole weekend. I have been there three times during 2009-2010.
While most choose to stay in White Beach Puerto Galera, I would rather be in a less crowded venue. That’s where I found the Tamaraw Beach Resort which is just beside the white beach.
To get there from White Beach, you may walk along the highway or ride a tricycle (at that time it was P15 each person). For me, Tamaraw Beach Resort is ok if you want more space in the sand and privacy like I do. I like taking pictures without too many strangers in the background.
More than I love terrace stargazing, this place made me realized that it’s so much better with the sound of the waves, the feel of the cool sea breeze and the sand on my toes.
From then on, I knew that the beach is my thing, more than the bikini itself. Of course I’m kidding. 😆
